■ ROSS HALFIN
Ross Halfin is a world-renowned music photographer with over 40 years of experience. Originally aspiring to be a painter, he didn't fit in with the atmosphere of art school and turned to photography. He entered the world of music photography after taking unauthorized photos of concerts by The Who and AC/DC. Since then, he has accompanied numerous rock bands on tour, including Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Guns N' Roses, and has also taken many photos for magazines and albums.
Since the 90s, he has also focused on travel photography, and in 2011, he published a travel photo book, "Sojourner." He says, "I am not just a rock photographer," and defines a good photograph as "something that has the power to stop people in their tracks."
